As an experienced social worker you will use your substantial experience of working with children needing safeguarding and those who are looked After to chair both Child Protection Conferences and Statutory Reviews for Looked After Children.
Using Signs of Safety model across all your work you will play a key role in enabling children to live with and be safely cared for by their families and where this is not possible to ensure they achieve permanency without delay.
Additionally by support and challenge to practice, you will contribute to improved planning at both Care Plan and strategic level, and provision of guidance and support for the development of high quality, evidenced based practice reflecting the policies, procedures, priorities and standards required by national and local guidance across services.
