Further information

You will undertake patrols enforcing and advising on the Parking Restrictions in South Gloucestershire issuing Penalty Charge Notices as appropriate. This will include residents parking schemes in South Gloucestershire.

You may also be required to monitor, report or take enforcement action for other forms of offence while on patrol in line with agreed protocols and processes. As an example this could be a Fixed Penalty Notice for litter.

It is expected that you will work a 37 hour week spread over a shift pattern. The days of work required will be flexible to provide cover as required and to include weekend and Bank Holiday working. You may be required to work overtime, in which case payment or time off in lieu will be available.


It is a requirement of employment that a standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is obtained for this post. This means that you must declare any criminal convictions, cautions, reprimands or final warnings unless these are ‘protected’ as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
