Service Area: West of England Combined Authority
The West of England Combined Authority is seeking to recruit a suitably skilled and experienced individual to the role of Enterprise Co-ordinator. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to deliver the Enterprise Adviser Network initiative in the West of England. This initiative recruits volunteer Enterprise Advisers from employers/businesses and matches them with local schools/colleges on a 1-2-1 basis to help support and develop their employer engagement, careers and enterprise activities.
The Enterprise Co-ordinators are critical to the network achieving its aim of motivating, inspiring and supporting young people to make informed choices about their future and achieving in line with these choices. The role will involve regular contact with senior individuals across a wide range of partners including: schools, colleges, employers (including the self-employed), local, regional and national skills organisations, education/training providers, business representative organisations, third sector partners and the Careers & Enterprise Company.
