Contracts and General Administrator – two part time posts (maternity cover and permanent)

We are offering two opportunities for people looking for their next challenging role, who are experienced administrators. Both roles enable you to support a highly functioning team, contributing to making a real difference for homeless young people.

1625 Independent People (1625ip) is a leading youth homeless charity based in the South West, working with over 2,500 young people. We have strong local partnerships and adhere to the best practice in the sector, thereby building trusting relationships between young people and 1625ip staff is at the core of our work.

What we are looking for:
• You have good project administration skills and you work well within a busy environment.
• You are able to hold a pivotal role, alongside the team manager supporting the effective delivery of, and monitoring across contracts.
• You are highly organised and have good attention to detail
• You have excellent interpersonal skills, including tact, discretion and experience of liaising with representatives from external organisations.

What you will be doing:
• Gathering data and preparing statistical information for monitoring and reporting.
• Collating HR information to keep annual leave, sickness and training information systems up to date.
• Preparing invoices and managing petty cash.
• Recording referrals into the service and providing information and advice to young people dropping into the office.

You will be in the South Glos team and your line manager will be the South Glos Services Manager.

What we are offering:
• 30 days’ holiday (pro rata as roles are part time)

Contract details permanent post:
• Hours per week: 22.5 (Wed – Friday)
• Contract type: permanent
• Pay: £20,541 - £22,401 per annum (0.6 FTE pro rata)
• The location: You will be based in our Patchway office in South Gloucestershire

Contract details maternity cover post:
• Hours per week: 15 (Monday - Tuesday)
• Contract type: maternity cover
• Pay: £20,541 - £22,401 per annum (0.4 FTE pro rata)
• The location: You will be based in our Patchway office in South Gloucestershire
