Carers Support Centre (CSC) Bristol and South Gloucestershire provides a wide range of information, advice and support services for unpaid adult and young (children) carers.

A carer is someone who provides support to family or friends who could not manage without this help. This could be caring for a relative, partner or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or substance misuse problems. All the care they give is unpaid.Three out of five people in the UK will become carers at some time in their lives.

We currently have a vacancy in our Carers Well-being Team working to ensure carers have access to appropriate support, are able to maintain their own health and wellbeing to enable them to continue with their caring role.

Carers Training Co-ordinator & Wellbeing Team Support – maternity cover (up to 12 months)
26.25 hours per week

£18,710 to £20,101 FTE

You will provide an effective coordination of our training for carers, arranging venues, speaking to carers about the courses and workshops we provide and booking them onto training. You will also have excellent organisational skills to provide support to members of our Well-being team

The successful applicant will have:

• Recent and relevant experience organising a varied programme of training
• Have experience of supporting volunteers
• Demonstrable experience of providing administrative support within a multi-disciplined team
