SCHOOL’S BREAKFAST COOK

You will make a difference as a School’s Breakfast Cook by delivering nutritious meals to children in schools, giving them physical and mental energy, strengthening their ability to learn.

Salary: £9.34 per hour, approx. £2,131.00 p/a (before tax and NI)
Working Pattern: Permanent - Term Time Only - 5 hours a week (1 hour per day)
Location: Watermore Primary School, Frampton Cotterell

WHAT DOES AN AVERAGE DAY LOOK LIKE?

It is said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You will be preparing and cooking a nutritious breakfast as well as serving this to the children who attend Breakfast Club.

You will liaise with the Kitchen Unit Manager in regard to orders for produce so good communication and organisational skills are important.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

You will have the ability to cook for others using raw ingredients and prime cooking methods.

You will be able to demonstrate and adhere to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

You will have the ability to lift/move items such as dining furniture, saucepans and provisions

Ideally you would have a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering and be able to use kitchen machinery e.g. slicers/mixers.
