What does an average day look like?

If you want to be part of a dedicated and supportive team, this could be the role for you. The Business Support Team receives emails from Police and Youth Justice, detailing offences and the young people suspected of committing them.
It will be your responsibility to ensure these details are entered accurately onto our case management system so attention to detail is vital.

You will be responsible for compiling all relevant documents in a timely manner for the Court Officer or a Youth Justice Panel.

You will also have the responsibility of booking rooms and ensuring that the members of the panel hearing have the relevant documentation.

Business Support is the first point of contact and all enquiries must be dealt with sensitively and with confidentiality.

In addition there is ongoing work related to finances – creating payments and overseeing petty cash.

What we need from you:

-You will hold a minimum qualification of 3 grade C’s at GCSE (or equivalent qualification) including English and Maths or equivalent relevant experience within a similar role in administration.

-Able to work on your own initiative – whilst having the confidence to seek advice when necessary.

-IT knowledge and its practical application, including experience of using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and be willing to learn other computer based applications.
