How you’ll make a difference

You will make a difference by delivering healthy meals to fuel children in schools, energising them to learn.

What will you be doing?

You will assist in the provision of food according to the menu, portion control food preparation and cooking and assist in the organisation and supervision of food service areas.

You will be responsible for controlling hygiene, health and safety and security of the kitchens and surrounds and monitor the condition and safe use of catering equipment, reporting faults and breakdown in such equipment as necessary.

You will carry out emergency feeding when required and in the provision of special catering needs as required e.g. diets, out of school activities.

You will be flexible and reliable in your approach to working.
You will have excellent organisational skills.
You will be able to communicate in a polite and friendly manner to children, members of staff and colleagues.
