How you’ll make a difference

You will make a difference as a Career Progression Coach by helping people move into employment which furthers their career and offers more financial reward.

What will you be doing?

You shall be working with individual clients on their individual action plans, liaising with training providers to investigate suitable provision, liaising with partners to promote the service.

You would need to source, monitor and share specialist information ensuring that customers receive detailed, accurate reports and/or data and contribute to specific projects and service initiatives and where appropriate ensure effective implementation in the work area.

You will establish working relationships with customers (employees, departments, partner organisations, key stakeholders) at all levels which is timely, useful, informative and efficient.

You shall be responsible for dealing with customers appropriately and effectively ensuring that they receive a good level of service. You will ensure that any queries that are escalated are resolved and that outcomes are used to improve the service. Ownership is taken for responding to and/or resolving queries, complaints and requests.

What we need from you:

You must have a minimum NVQ level 4 Information Advice and Guidance qualification or equivalent.
You shall be able to work in a facilitative style.
You will be solution focussed.
You should have experience of coaching/mentoring clients.
