Further information
South Gloucestershire Council are currently looking for a number of social workers and advanced social workers to join us across our Integrated Children's Services.
We have flexible options with regards to full time, part time or job share opportunities; and roles currently available across the following teams:
- Access and Response Team (Front door / assessment)
- Long Term Child Protection (our Locality Hubs in Kingswood and Patchway)
- Fostering Team, specifically connected carer / kinship
- Looked After Children Team
- Transition to Independence (care leavers)
- Children with disabilities (0-18 year old)
- Young adults with disabilities (16-25 year old)

Please note, you must be able to demonstrate:
- You already hold relevant qualification as a social worker
- Are registered with the HCPC
- Have completed your ASYE (where qualified post 2012)
- Possess a full UK driving license with access to a vehicle insured for business use.

Salary banding is £28,221 - £34,106, with relocation costs up to £8,000 tax free reimbursed if you relocate to South Gloucestershire to work for the council.
Front Door and Long Term Child Protection Teams also offer a one-time £3,000 recruitment payment after probation.
