ART manages initial preventative and social care contacts for Integrated Children’s Services, performing screening and assessment plus initial child protection investigations. It also contains our Multi Agency Support Hub (MASH).

The starting salary for this role will be £54,478

Essential Criteria (Please complete attached Expression of Interest form):

1. Recognised and relevant professional qualification e.g. DipSW, CQSW, CSS. Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

2. A proven track record of senior management within Children and Young Peoples Services

3. Project management and strategic long term planning skills

4. Experience of managing budgets and resources within Children’s Services

5. Experience of leadership and change management

6. A clear in-depth understanding of the national issues and legal framework relating to Children and Young People

7. Experience of Commissioning Services

8. Knowledge of Outcome Based Accountability

9. Skilled communicator, able to deal with confidential and highly sensitive issues

10. Evidence of a management qualification or equivalent
