Lunchbreak Supervisor:

Hours: 6 hours 15 minutes per week, term time only (Monday to Friday 11.50am – 1.05pm)

Salary: Hay 13 (£2,803 per annum)

Reading Assistant:

Hours: 5 hours per week, term time only (Monday to Friday 1.30pm – 2.30pm)

Salary: Hay 14 (£1,958 per annum)

Bowsland Green Primary School is a friendly and secure school, which puts children and their learning at the centre of all we do.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and committed person to join our team of experienced Lunchtime Supervisors and Reading Assistants. This is a crucial role that supports pupils during a very important time during the school day.

This post has two parts. Firstly, you will be required to assist the children in the dining room and to supervise them in the playground or indoors if wet weather during lunchtime. We are looking for someone who is caring and passionate about children having an active and fulfilling lunch break – important for developing strong social relationships and a successful afternoon of learning!

In addition, you will be supporting some of our youngest learners in developing their reading ability assisting them in their overall English development. This work may be conducted in small group or one to one sessions after lunch. You will be part of a team of three and work under the direction of the KS1 leader.

If you think that your experience, skills and personal qualities would make you the ideal person to complete our team, then this may be the job for you! Full training will be provided.
