Senior Estates Officer – The Station

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Estates Officer to join our Estates team at The Station!

Reporting to the Estates Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings and grounds of our Station site are safe and maintained in accordance with the required standards an optimum efficiency. You will be expected to observe safe working practices in carrying our your duties which include building and maintenance repairs and improvements. You will also be required to liaise with and co-ordinate contractors, technical consultants and manufacturing suppliers ensuring that Creative Youth Network building systems and equipment are maintained to the required standard. You’ll be an organised person who is able to manage their own time effectively whilst providing direction and guidance to the estates officers in your team. The post requires frequent evening and weekend work, so it is important that you are flexible for this type of work.

You will have significant experience of working in building and grounds maintenance and liaising with subcontractors. You’ll also have a competent understanding of Health and Safety legislation relevant to buildings and maintenance work. You’ll be flexible and an organised individual with excellent DIY skills. It is crucial that you are an excellent communicator and have fantastic team working skills, and have the drive to follow through tasks to its full completion. PASMA qualification and/or PAT qualification desirable, but not essential, as there will be an expectation to undertake further training and continue with your professional development.

Salary: £24,457 pro rata, grade 2.5

Hours: 40 hours per week
