NLA: Trust Fundraising Manager
We are currently seeking a Trust Fundraising Manager to join our busy fundraising team based in Bristol.
Creative Youth Network has made great strides in establishing itself as a leading talent development vehicle into the creative industries for young people who would not otherwise have the opportunity. However, as the need for our work continues to rise, so too does the need for an expansion of our Creative programme.
You will play a central role as we seek to achieve our ambition to move to multi-year funding for delivery and core to enable this expansion. The role will work closely with the Creative Department to devise and implement a fundraising and work plan for expansion of creative/arts activities which align with the organisation’s long-term goals. This will include conducting prospect research, writing compelling and successful bids, managing donor relationships and ensuring timely reporting.
As the creative and youth work programmes run holistically across the organisation, there will also be work related to youth services, and other areas of fundraising. As part of a small team, the Trusts Fundraising Manager will work closely with colleagues to offer expertise and feedback, providing support as required. The role will report to the Head of Communications and Fundraising to achieve annual fundraising targets and work towards the wider fundraising strategy.
You’ll have at least two years’ charitable trust fundraising experience, with specific experience of success in the arts sector. You’ll be a self-starter with a proven track record of identifying, applying for and securing five figure grants, and of managing high value partnerships/donors that commit over a number of years. You’ll have experience of developing a financial case for support, and presenting a budget for funding applications. You’ll be able to demonstrate an ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues, donors and other relevant external organisations and partners. In addition, you’ll be able to demonstrate a high standard of organisational and planning skills, including the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload.
In return, we can offer 33 days’ annual leave pro rata (including bank holidays) per year, a cycle to work scheme, opportunities for flexible working, paid breaks and development opportunities.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
Salary: £27,797-£29,489 (3.0-3.2) pro-rata
Hours: 24 hours per week
Application deadline: 22nd February 2019, 17:00
Interviews: TBC
