Hours: 22 hours 30 minutes per week, term time only (Monday to Wednesday 8am – 4pm) Job share

Salary: Hay 12 (£9,584 per annum)

This is a fixed term post until 3rd November 2019 to cover the secondment of the substantive postholder, with a view to becoming permanent.

Pathways Learning Centre provides short stay education and therapeutic support for up to 150 students between Key Stage 1 – 4; who are unable to access mainstream provision for a variety of reasons. The successful applicant will join a dynamic, enthusiastic team, totally committed to supporting some of the most vulnerable students in South Gloucestershire.

Required an enthusiastic and committed Receptionist/Clerical Assistant to deliver front office services.

The post holder will need to:

• Have a good level of education, normally evidenced by a minimum of 3 GCSEs (including Maths and English) at grade C or above, or other equivalents
• Have good computer skills (MS Office)
• Have good interpersonal skills
• Be committed to providing high quality customer care
• Have an understanding of and commitment to the confidentiality of all Pathways Learning Centre clients

Other desirable criteria include:

• Previous receptionist/clerical experience
• Previous experience of working within an education or school setting
• A sense of humour
